If you are sharing users and groups and have been running the mail server on a secondary server, a user can log on to the previous server as long as mail messages for the user still reside there. Use the AppleShare IP Mail Tool to export messages from the previous mail server to the new server, or use the IMAP Admin port to copy mail between servers.
